Beauty and the Beast Ballet
The Creative Arts Center’s ballet students will bring this classic fairytale, which has a “don’t judge a book by its cover” moral, to life under the direction of Charlene White. The role of Belle will be danced by senior Peta Compton and the Beast will be danced by Kieran Burkholder. Journey with Belle through a beautiful garden with dancing roses to the Beast’s enchanted castle where she meets dancing dresses, teapots, jewels, candles, and a few spunky Chefs. This family-oriented production is sure to entertain.
Act II of the performance will highlight the Center’s tap, jazz, and modern dance students performing pieces choreographed by CAC faculty members Cathryn Forbes, Brittiny Grigg, and Nina Murphy
